Counter Sunk

Uses a 5/32" allen wrench for installation and removal. This style is designed for a flush finish. It is used in areas such as a doorway or sidewalk. Also commonly used where carpeting will be laid over a clean out, as in an office or finished basement. The counter sunk style is considered a tamper proof clean out plug.

Thumb Bolt

Uses channel-lock pliers, crescent wrench or thumb tightening for installation and removal. Commonly used in stack clean outs (vertical lines), or any application where the thumb bolt head protruding outward from the plug is not a problem.

Hex Head

This nut driver style has a 5/16" head. Used by plumbers and contractors that are using no-hub connectors in their plumbing applications. They can use the same nut driver wrench for two jobs.

Topped or Finished Plugs

CHROME ACCESS COVER STYLE "A"

CHROME ACCESS COVER STYLE "B"

Steel Topped

This style uses the counter sunk plug and employs a steel plate top. This gives the extra protection needed for heavy traffic areas or areas where heavy machinery will be driven over it. These plugs work well in warehouses, loading docks, or in outside clean outs. Available in stainless steel or black enamel over steel.

Chrome Access Cover Style "A"

This style employs a beveled edge chrome finishing plate and uses the counter sunk plugs. These plugs have a 1/4 -20 threaded spacer for the bolt. This enables you to recess the plug beneath the finishing plate at a depth determined by the length of the bolt. This is used when the clean-out is recessed beneath the floor or behind the wall.

Chrome Access Cover Style "B"

This style employs a beveled edge chrome finishing plate that is attached directly to the top of the plug. The countersunk bolts are most commonly used for this application because of the flush finish.

Hex Extension Plugs

Includes the 1/4 - 20 threaded spacer as in Style "A", without the chrome access cover.
